The Ayurveda Esthetic program of The Institute of Beauty and Wellness is approved by the State of Wisconsin Educational Approval Program to be offered and taught at Aveda Institute Madison, a teaching location of the Institute of Beauty and Wellness. As both locations are owned by Susan Haise, the Ayurveda Esthetic program, including curriculum and graduation requirements, are identical at both locations.
The Ayurveda Esthetic course at Aveda Institute Madison focuses on training students not only in a traditional esthetics education, but in the ancient Ayurvedic traditions that so many are looking for. This 1000-hour course is a personal journey that focuses on the balance of mind, body and spirit as well as the holistic wellness practices that fuel these ancient practices in methodology.
Not only can you leave our program with the esthetics training you need for licensure, but you will also gain the foundations of holistic principles and beliefs of Ayurveda.
Aveda Institute Madison’s Ayurveda Esthetic program is founded on the ancient practices of preventing and healing imbalances within the body. Guided by instructors that have been trained in traditional Ayurvedic practices, you will gain the opportunity to learn, and understand the fundamental history of this beautiful field.
Beginning with the foundations of esthetics such as the fundamentals you will then dig deeper and introduce many Ayurvedic principles including Sanskrit, mindfulness, the doshas, digestion and chakras.
In addition to an iPad to help you through this journey, all Aveda Institute Madison students gain access to continuing education opportunities that will help see through each step of your future in the industry.

Once you have received your Ayurveda Esthetic Certificate from Aveda Institute Madison you will have met the requirements to apply to become a licensed esthetician in the State of Wisconsin. As one of the first schools in the nation to offer this course, we are also proud to help our students apply for a membership with the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America (AAPNA) as a Registered Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant and with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor.
