21 Mar Introducing Beauty Cares Live Education Series
Sometimes it seems when the world feels like it’s crashing down on us, we can find a silver lining through the storm. As educators and leaders in the beauty industry, it is our purpose to inspire, motivate and to help our others grow. At Aveda Institute Madison, this doesn’t stop because of social distancing. Our institute is adapting and creating intentional opportunities for learning.
Aveda Institute Madison has put together a complimentary 21-day series of online training that is open to our students, alumni and industry at-large. We introduce Beauty Cares Live Education Series which begins Monday, March 23, 2020. This series will feature one hour of hair education at 2:00PM CST, followed by one hour of spa education at 3:00PM CST. Tune in on our sister school’s YouTube channel each day to catch it live, or access the videos after the live broadcast.
View the hair and spa live education series schedules. Can’t make it for the livestream? All education videos will be saved to the @AvedaIBW YouTube channel to access anytime.
We’ve reached out to our vast network of friends and colleagues in the beauty and spa industry to ask for support in creating dynamic, live educational sessions on The Institute of Beauty and Wellness You Tube channel. It’s amazing amongst the chaos and uncertainty how many of our friends have committed an hour of their time towards our purpose.
Starting Monday, March 23, 2020, we will kick off our first day of the series with Gerard Scapraci, cofounder of Hairbrained. Gerard’s 2:00PM education will be on social media and haircutting. Whether you are a hair designer or not, you’ll be sure to learn some useful tips on beauty and social media.
We encourage everyone in the beauty, barber and spa network to engage in this opportunity for daily learning from our guest educators. Our goal is to get back behind the chair, in the treatment room and behind the manicure table with more skill, knowledge and commitment than ever to support our guests. We are licensed to touch, and after this isolation, our guests will not only need our expertise, but our compassion as we deliver high-level service.
