5 THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT CLAUDE MARCEL

  1. WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL VACATION SPOT AND WHY?

CLAUDE: My ideal vacation spot is the beach, any beach. I love the water and it’s a way for me to cleanse my soul. I’ve always been a fan of beaches and any beach will make my day! It always relaxes and soothes me.

2.  WHO DO YOU WATCH FOR INSPIRATION?

CLAUDE: I watch many inspiration. Some are fashion icons and some are business icons. I draw my inspiration from them all. I don’t really have one person I watch, but I am always inspired by high fashion, Dior, John Paul Gauthier, Versace, and I especially like watching street fashion. I like to watch what people on the streets are wearing because it gives me an insight into who they are. My haircuts follow an individuals fashion sense and I love to bring out the beauty in everyone…the beauty they often did not know they had.

3.  SHARE WITH US A BEAUTY SECRET YOU LIVE BY.

CLAUDE: I love smoothies and make my own every morning. I put the ingredients in that will benefit my physical well-being. I believe in taking care of my physical well-being because that affects my mental well-being. If you take care of your body then your body will take care of you.

4.  WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU CURRENTLY LISTENING TO?

CLAUDE: DJ Binho Uckermann. I like to listen to his mixes. Episode 003 is one of my favorite songs if you want a specific song.

5.  WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY?

CLAUDE: The key to success in the beauty industry is no different than any other industry. YOU MUST LOVE WHAT YOU DO! Someone who is in the beauty industry only to make money will be mediocre at best. If you LOVE making women (and men) beautiful and draw from your inspiration to help your clients’ realize their fashion dreams, then you are in the right job. As I always say, don’t focus on the money, focus on what you love to do. The money will follow if you are passionate about your job. Ask yourself WHY you do what you do. If it’s because of passion then you can only be successful because work becomes more than a job.
